The Grant County Extension Office Open House will be January 18th from 2-6p. We welcome all members of the community to come and check out all of the exciting things our new office building has to offer. Come see the expansive meeting area, Teaching Kitchen, Project rooms, Commercial Kitchen Space, and Brand New Country Ham Curing Facility. Most 4-H and Homemakers clubs will be on display and have activities or information for everyone!

Country Ham Curing Day

All participants who registered for the 2025 Country Ham Project must attend our Curing Day. Country Ham Curing will be January 20th from 8:00am-3:00pm at the new Grant County Extension Office.  Timeslots and more details will become available closer to the date. 

Please wear clothing and shoes that can get dirty, Country Ham Curing is a messy process!

Livestock Council Meeting

Livestock Council will be meeting after the Livestock Club Meeting from 7-8:30pm at the Temporary Extension Office.  We will be discussing plans for the 2025 project year.  

All parents of livestock exhibitors are able to attend and be apart of the discussions. 

Horticulture Club Meeting

The time has come! Horticulture Club is beginning to meet again! Horticulture Club will be meeting at the Grant County Extension Office on January 27th from 6:00-7:00pm.

Attendees will be making Terrariums! All materials and supplies except for containers will be provided. Please bring your own vessel for your terrariums.  Registration for this meeting is required.
